Are you looking for a few last minute goodies to bring to your cookout table this year? I have a few ideas that would fit into any menu. Alongside the hot dogs and hamburgers, pasta salads, and corn on the cob....how about these yummy treats?
Sip these all slow, a brain-freeze may occur upon consumption, FYI.
Summer just isn't summer without one of these frozen drinks. Quick and easy to make - no special machines or equipment necessary.
Half ice tea, half lemonade ='s a thirst quenching lemony beverage. Liquid summer!
Need to cool down? Want an Orange Julius- type drink, without having to go to the mall? Mix up this famous frozen treat with a blender and just a few ingredients.

A few munchies to get the party started!
A sweet and salty delight, tossed in creamy lime cilantro and avocado. Beer optional (let's be honest.....a family cookout requires at least 1...or 14).
Who doesn't love a good dip? (besides that distant friend/relative that shows up for your cookout and won't EVER shut up! Yeah, we've all got one.)
Can't get to the shore? Leave the sand behind and bring the shore to you!

Sweet Treats!!

What a chocolate peanut butter/sunbutter fix, but don't feel like baking? Try these no-bake cookies.
Nothing says America like apple pie! How about these little mini pies/cookies? Buttery pie crust, filled with sweetened apple rings. Uncle Sam would approve. Totally.
These cookies are blended with a summery combination of ground banana chips, coconut flakes, dried pineapple, and white chocolate chips. You need to bake these. Seriously. Like, now.
Vanilla infused sugar, tossed with fresh berries makes a great addition to any shortcake. Now, add the bourbon for a kick! Yowzah!! (make these the night before - they need time to marinate.)
Quintessential for any summer menu. Use what ever fresh berries you have on-hand, and top with this cornmeal muffin inspired batter. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream. Mmmmmmmmmmm.
I want to party at your house! It all looks so delicious. I have got to make mini apple pies, it's on my to do list. Unfortunately that list grows each day. Have a wonderful 4th!!!
